My name is Jon Duckworth. I seek opportunities that I hope will allow me to further act upon my calling from God. My desire is to live my life in devotion to God and God’s Word by loving God with all of my body, soul, and mind; loving my “neighbor” like Christ loves us; devoting myself completely to the work of the Church through the development of the ministry of all Christians. I seek to answer the call of Christ to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything Christ commanded us. I would like to do this through writing Sunday school materials, Bible study guides, commentaries, books, book reviews, and articles. Over the years, I have designed and lead programs for spiritual formation and growth and developed the awareness in others of the presence and life-giving power of the Holy Spirit. I also minister to others by offering spiritual counseling, mourning with those who mourn, and rejoicing with those who rejoice. Not only am I to nurture and assist people who are working out their faith, growing in sanctification – in holiness – but also I am to be a partner with them on this journey of faith.
My sole desire is to be in communion with God and the People of God.
